Fashion Nova: The Ugly Truth behind The Fits
Clothes make me HAPPY! Shopping makes me HAPPY! Retail therapy lights fire into my SOUL! But FASHION NOVA lights fire within my HEART! The point of online shopping is having the ability to shop online & have your favorite items delivered right to your doorstep, with no worries of malls or searching from store to store. On October 12, 2018, at 7:40 am I placed an order from one of the hottest online stores, Fashion Nova! Please keep in mind I’ve been ordering from them since 2016 may be even before! I had just gotten paid and I had an important weekend coming up, Kevin Hart Concert, one of my besties birthday dinner, and a girl’s night that was supposed to be super litty!!!!! Let us fast-forward to this moment Right Now, December 4, 2018! I still have not received my package from Fashion Nova. So all of my cute outfits I planned for my LIT(Y) girls weekend never arrived. I sent a gazillion e-mails, which were all, received and answered with an automated response, which I felt like robots can send out.
I am beyond pissed when 2 weeks go by, I send another e-mail. Again, I receive an automated e-mail, with the words “Hi LOVE”, I really wanted to say BITCH, do not call me that. Where the HELL is my items I bought? I tried to keep it professional because let the truth be told I really wanted my items more so than a refund.
They sent an email basically blaming that they were moving into a state of the art facility which is why my shipment had not been shipped. I continued to see them promote and still sale items. So, I email again because by now it’s been a month, still no package. Even juicer news, Fashion Nova scammed its way to buying a new facility! How you ask? By taking orders for Halloween costumes and running a Halloween sale, had the nerve to take all the money and front it for the new place. Those people never got to wear their Halloween costumes, because they were NEVER sent or maybe sent after Halloween! How can a company do this to its costumers people who actually buy things and don’t receive things for free? I do understand things happen, people move, business gets busy but do not treat me in a manner to where I do not EXIST, when I am spending my hard earned COINS.
Weeks go by I’m constantly & consistently clicking my order status that says UNFULFILLED! My friend that ordered after me has received her product and I’m still ASSED out literally. I find a phone number to Fashion Nova which turns out just to be a voice recording that sends you to the website, or you get a phone that just rings off the hook with no real receptionist. While this is going on, I am like WTF! I spend a lot of money with you all and this is how you treat me? I request a refund and in turn FN gave me nothing, but “Hey NOVA BABE here is 20-30% off your next purchase. Listen to Cardi B’s song”. ME: Honey! I think you should know I will never be ordering from you again!
Approximately, almost 2 months later I am fed up I send an email, for one last try and they basically say stop sending so many e-mails because they are behind on e-mails and are still trying to get their Cardi B collection and some other BS shipped out. Y’all know I almost lost my mind for a second! Fashion Nova, so you mean to tell me you can’t process my order that was placed in October, because you are busy processing orders that just took place. OH OK! SEND ME MY COINS that I also REQUESTED, since I can’t receive the product I PURCHASED. Their Response: “Dear Nova Babe, it will take 7-10 business days to process”. Why are you so quick to take my money and slow to put it back? Fashion Nova, I’m sorry BABE you are not all that! You were just convenient and affordable. I just found out that FN and AGACI have the same wholesale so there is no need to even order from you all when I can go to my local AGCACI store. I know this post may not ever be seen but as a loyal customer I find it highly disrespectful to treat customers the way you do. If I spend my hard earned money on products or with a well-known business I expect GRADE A treatment & product or should I say GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE. I am happy about my decision to unfollow FN Instagram and unsubscribe from their mailing list. I will spend my money somewhere that it is appreciated and can at least receive a real e-mail with proper customer service. This is NO WAY to run a Business Richard.
I’ve always heard so many bad things about FN but I was never on the receiving side. I will say to all the girls and now men that this may be happening too, I am right there with you! Please know that you are not the only ones not receiving packages or feeling like you being taken advantage of. However, I will continue rocking my items already purchased.
